SAAT Treatment

SAAT Treatment

It was Paul Nogier who, in the early 1900s originally determined that allergies could be treated by utilizing the auricular acupuncture microsystem. While Nogier pioneered this new practice Nader Soliman who, studied directly under Nogier, introduced a treatment he called Soliman's Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT).

SAAT is a form of allergy treatment that targets specific allergy zones within the ear’s micro system, that are unique to the individual. Similar to other forms of eastern medicinal treatments, SAAT targets the immune system’s negative response to an allergen. SAAT has been influenced by the idea that if the body has the capacity and strength to develop the over-active immune response, it has the ability to reverse it as well. Thus, as opposed to proscribing something that is meant to block the reaction without treating the problem, SAAT treatment has been proved to rid your body of the allergen completely.

This one needle approach is shown to help people with gluten, dairy, sugar and many other known allergies/sensitivities.

It is also specifically used to target and treat Alpha-gal, a meat allergy that is caused by tick-borne illness.

Why should you use SAAT treatment:

Western medicine allergy treatments often rely on shots and medications that can cause unwanted side effects and must be taken continuously. SAAT offers a simple, effective solution with no side-effects. Here are the many reasons why we recommend this treatment:

•       The SAAT procedure is incredibly easy for patients to receive.

•       One to three treatments are all that is typically necessary.

•       Its safety is unparalleled.

•       There are no known side effects.

•       It is a fairly inexpensive and quick procedure.

•       The results have been remarkable.

•       The results have been shown to last.

How the Procedure is Done

The treatment will involve a virtually painless insertion of a tiny (3mm) hair-thin, sterilized, stainless-steel acupuncture needle into the skin of the outer ear. Since the ear has complex neurological, embryological, and electromagnetic connections to the brain, this makes it possible to treat many issues. Auricular (ear) acupuncture technique has long been medically accepted by the World Health Organization.

For this treatment, Carmela will protect and secure a needle so that it maintains stimulation for 3 weeks (patient may then easily remove it from home). Clinical results show that this can trigger the body in such a way that the allergy/sensitivity goes away itself, naturally.

For SAAT treatments, we recommend that your travel time to appointments is less than two hours. The needles used are very small and sometimes require replacement between regularly-scheduled appointments.

What to expect in your initial SAAT visit:

The new client initial visit includes a full intake, health history and testing for other underlying conditions.  It is extremely important to understand that each person is unique and results will vary.  Identifying all the dietary, environmental or other underlying allergies is critical for success of this treatment.

All patients will be tested for Mast Cell Activation syndrome and histamine. Carmela has found that oftentimes these conditions must be cleared prior to the allergy. Also, dietary changes may be recommended to support your treatment.

The full course of treatment with SAAT will generally include 3-4 visits/treatments with Carmela with a 3-4 week interval between treatments; however, depending on the intensity of underlying allergies or other health challenges (ex.diabetes) of each individual, an extended treatment time with more follow up may be needed.
