Home Remedies
ACV/Lemon Shot
(Good Morning Elixir)
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
Juice from ½ of a lemon
1 teaspoon of Manuka Honey
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients and drink every morning.
Digestion Aid
Makes: 2 Servings
Ingredients:
5 Organic celery stalks
1 large organic cucumber
2 organic parsley sprigs
2 organic cilantro sprigs
1 organic lemon, peeled
1 to 1 ½ inch knob of ginger, peeled
Directions:
1. Wash all ingredients and cut into chunks.
2. Pass all of the ingredients through your juicer.* Reserve the pulp for another use (it makes great soup!)
3. Serve immediately for optimal vitamin and mineral content.
*If you don't have a juicer, blend the ingredients in the blender on high until well combined and smooth, adding water to make blending possible if needed. Then pass the mixture through a fine colander and drink.
Ginger Tea
Ingredients:
1 Cup ginger, chopped
2 Cups water
Directions:
1. Add ingredients to a VitaMix or blender and process mixture until it is well blended / fine consistency.
2. Drain ginger mixture through a small sieve/colander.
3. Drink 1 ounce, twice a day.
