Baked Pears

Did you know that pears are a great natural way to promote lung health? Pears are great at reducing mucus, suppressing coughs, and are hydrating. Try this tasty dessert recipe at home to keep your lungs healthy!

INGREDIENTS:

-4 Bosc Pears

-Crystalized Ginger

-Cinnamon

-Walnuts/Cashews/Pumpkin Seeds (your choice)


DIRECTIONS:

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

-Clean, half, and core the pears. Leave the skin on the pear.

-Dice crystallized ginger and place a few pieces in pear core.

-Sprinkle the pears with cinnamon (to taste), then flip pear so they are flat side down.

-Cook for 20 minutes.

-Take them out of oven and allow them to cool.

-Once they are cooled top with nuts or seeds of your choice

-Enjoy!
